Weigh In: Friday Nov. 11 from 6:30 – 9:00 pm and Saturday Nov.12 from 7:00 – 8:00 am. At the Keys High School Wrestling Room.

 

Wrestling Begins: 9:00 am

 

Entry Fee: $10.00 (Must be paid before weighing in) Cash or Checks only (Make checks payable to: Keys Cougar Takedown Club)

 

Deadline: Thursday, November 10th, by 10:00 p.m. Enter at www.okseries.com (except Div. 6 e-mail entries to keyscougartakedownclub@yahoo.com )

 

Weights: A wrestler may enter into two different divisions, but not at different weights in the same division. (Birthday cutoff September 1, 2011)

 

Div. I (6 & Under): 37, 40, 43, 46, 49, 52, 55, 60, 66, HWT*

Div. II (8 & Under): 43, 46, 49, 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 75, 83, 90, 105, HWT*

Div. III (10 & Under): 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 80, 85, 90, 100, 110, 120, 131,    HWT*

Div. IV (12 & Under): 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 80, 84, 88, 92, 96, 100, 105, 110, 120, 130, 140, 160, HWT*

Div. V (15 & Under): 78, 86, 94, 102, 110, 118, 126, 134, 142, 152, 165, 185, HWT*

Div. VI (9th-12th): 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, 285

 

Periods: (1) 3 minute period

                        Most Takedowns during this time wins the match

                        If a wrestler gets six takedowns ahead will be considered a “tech fall”.

Overtime – wrestle until a wrestler gets a takedown. If after 3 minutes, a takedown has not occurred, the referee will choose the most aggressive wrestler as the winner.

 

Wrestling: Double elimination, Round Robin brackets with three of less. If necessary brackets will be combined.

 

Awards:          Top 4 placers at each weight class receive medals – given following the completion of each bracket. If there is 6 or more in a bracket then top 4 receive medals. If there are no more than 5 then top 3 will receive medals.

Coaches Pass: 1 coach’s pass for every 5 entries. Extra floor passes $20.00 (Only 2 coaches per corner per wrestler.)
