Poteau Youth Wrestling Tournament

Location: Poteau High School Gymnasium (on the west side of Broadway, just behind football field)
Entry Fees: $15.00 per entry. Make checks payable to Poteau Youth Wrestling. Coaches must collect fees and pay as a team at weigh in. Each wrestler entered must be paid for, even if he/she is a no show.
Weigh-in: Friday, November 6, 2009 6:30 – 8: 30 (Div I, II, III, IV, V)
Saturday, November 7, 2009 6:30 – 8:00 (Div I, II, III, IV, V)
Saturday, November 7, 2009 11:00 – 12:00

Must be in singlet to weigh in.
Tournament will be handled in two sessions: Division I & II – 9:00 AM
Divisions III, IV, and V – Approximately 1:00
Division I Weights: 37, 40, 43, 46. 49, 52, 55, 60, 66, Heavy Wt. *
Division II Weights: 43, 46, 49, 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 75, 83, 90, 105, Heavy Wt.*
Division III Weights: 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 80, 85, 90, 100, 110, 120, 131, Heavy Wt.*
Division IV Weights: 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 80, 84, 88, 92, 96, 100, 105, 110, 120, 130, 140, 160, Heavy Wt. *
Division V Weights: 78, 86, 94, 102, 110, 118, 126, 134, 142, 152, 165, 185, Heavy Wt.*
* The maximum weight for heavyweight is 275 lbs for each division.
Wrestlers may enter 2 divisions, only one weight per division. Birth dates as of September 1, 2009*
Medals will be given to the top four places in each weight class in each division.
Coach Passes: 1-5 entries: 1 pass 6-10 entries: 2 passes 11-15 entries: 3 pass 16+ entries: 4 passes
Gate: Adults $3.00 Students $2.00 under 5 FREE
Format: Double elimination. Three man brackets will wrestle round robins. We reserve the right to combine weights to make full brackets if needed. All wrestlers must have shoelaces taped!
