WHERE:  Pirate Arena, ½ mile North of Hwy 82 & 412 intersection (east side of Hwy 82) ~ Locust Grove, OK

 

ENTRY DEADLINE:      Wednesday, January 13, 2010 by 10:00 P.M.

 

ENTRY FEE:       $15.00 per Wrestler – One Check per Team

                     All Checks Payable to: Locust Grove Youth Wrestling

                     Entry Fees for no shows and wrestlers not making weight will not be refunded.

WEIGH IN:    Friday, January 15th – All divisions: 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

This weigh in will be held at the High School Wrestling room

(corner of Wyandotte and Joe Koelsch Drive ~ south end of High School parking lot)

                        Saturday, January 16th, All Divisions: 6:30 A.M. until 8:00 A.M.

                        Saturday, January 16th, Div III & V: 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M.

Both Saturday weigh in times will be held at Gymnasium south of the Pirate Arena

(SIGNS WILL BE POSTED)

 

SESSION TIMES:    Saturday, January 16th- Division I, II, & IV: 9:00 A.M. until completion

                                    Saturday, January 16th- Division III & V: approx. 2:00 P.M. until completion

 

ADMISSION:      ADULTS: $5.00            55 & OLDER: $3.00            STUDENTS: $2.00

(NO PASSES unless provided by Tournament Director)

 

AWARDS:        Individual awards will be given to the 1st through 4th place in each weight classification.

DIVISION I (6&UNDER): 37,40,43,46,49,52,55,60,66,HWT*

 

DIVISION II (8&UNDER): 43,46,49,52,55,58,61,64,67,70,75,83,90,105,HWT*

 

DIVISION III(10&UNDER):52,55,58,61,64,67,70,73,76,80,85,90,100,110,120,131, HWT*

 

DIVISION IV (12&UNDER): 64,67,70,73,76,80,84,88,92,96,100,105,110,120,130,140,160, HWT*

 

DIVISION V (15&UNDER): 78,86,94,102,110,118,126,134,142,152,165,185,HWT*

*275 lb limit

 

TIME PERIODS:      Division I: (1,1,1) all matches;

Division II –V: (1 ½, 1 ½, 1 ½) championship matches

Division II –V: (1, 1, 1) consolation matches

Division II –V: (1 ½, 1 ½, 1 ½) championship and consolation final matches

Overtime: 1 minute period sudden death; if no score, then NFHS Rules apply

 

FORMAT:       Number system, double elimination, round robin if 3 man bracket.  No challenges for 2nd place.

We reserve the right to combine brackets as needed.

 

 

COACHES PASSES:     1 – 5 entries = 1 pass; 6 – 10 = 2; 11 – 15 = 3; 16 – 20 = 4; and so on

                                         Passes will be disbursed at weigh in when team fees have been paid.
